The Assignment

Stena Recycling needed to replace outdated office facilities with a modern solution that exceeds typical industry standards – without tying up capital in a permanent building.

The Solution

MG Link developed a project-specific site office built from refurbished preschool modules. Based on the client’s layout and functional requirements, suitable modules were selected from MG Link’s module fleet, then prepared and adapted in the factory before installation on site in Södertälje.

Reuse & Upgrade

To ensure quality and operational reliability, a complete condition assessment was carried out prior to refurbishment. This was followed by:

• New finishes in all rooms (floors, walls, ceilings)
• Reconfiguration of electrical installations where required and customized lighting for an optimal working environment
• Adjustments to the layout in accordance with the client’s logistics and workspace needs

The result was a modern office environment where nothing reveals the building’s previous use as a preschool unit – while achieving circular material flows and a reduced carbon footprint through reuse.

Installation & Operation

The modules were installed on site in October, allowing the business to move in quickly and continue operations without major disruption. The compact solution provides efficient workspaces with appropriate support areas, while the lease structure ensures long-term flexibility.
